DISC

A personality assessment that helps you understand you and your team better, communicate with them more effectively and help them succeed.

What is a DISC Assessment?

DISC is a personal assessment tool used by more than one million people every year to help improve teamwork, communication, and productivity in the workplace.

DISC is an acronym that stands for four key styles outlined in the DISC behavioural model: Dominant, Influential, Steady and Cautious.

By discovering individuals' strengths and areas they may find challenging, we can not only improve our own approach accordingly, but enhance the individual's self-awareness and performance in the workplace.

How can it be used?

Recruitment Tool - DISC is a fantastic recruitment tool and can be used when hiring new consultants for your agency. It allows you to identify and understand a person’s behavioural traits before even offering them a job. Anyone can do recruitment, but how they do it will differ based on their preferred styles. Profiling as part of your hiring process will highlight those differences and allow you to work out if they're a great fit for your team.

Personal growth and development - Understanding yourself at a deeper level can increase your success levels and enable you to communicate more effectively with others.

Agency growth and development - Understanding your team at a deeper level can help you tap into their strengths and be aware of their challenge areas. Communication between managers and consultants can then become more tailored and effective.

Team building - Once your team are DISC profiled, bring them together for a group session so they can learn about each other’s profiles and work more cohesively together.

Accreditation Training - If you’re looking to upskill your managers and team and would like to be able to run your own DISC assessments, then I can take you through your Level 1 DISC Accreditation. Run over the course of a day, each delegate will leave with a more thorough understanding of the four styles and the ability to embed it within the workplace.
