Taking on trainees is a great solution when hiring for your business - experienced recruiters are expensive and currently in short supply. 

  • But they need support. Without it they will not survive. 

  • You need them to bill, and quickly. 

  • But your time is limited. Adding training to your list of responsibilities is going to take you away from important parts of your business. 

  • That’s where the Trainee Academy comes in…

Trainee Academy

  • For those crucial first months, you will have weekly onsite support from me in the training and development of your newbies. The pressure of getting them up to speed is outsourced to me!

  • There are two levels of cover available with standard training modules around key fundamental areas of the recruitment process - candidate, client and sales related. Add-on modules are available for you to tailor the delivery to your new team's needs. Not sure what direction to go in?

    Do not worry as I am here to support you.

  • I understand that one of the areas that is the most challenging with trainees is getting them used to the ups and downs of recruitment.

    We need them to be resilient and independent consultants or they simply will not last.

    Without the right support mindset challenges can set in, and if not addressed this can be dangerous and ultimately result in people leaving. To address this, fortnightly coaching sessions are held to create a safe space where consultants can open up, share their struggles but also learn to be accountable and set their own goals and targets

  • What happens when I’m not there? The consultants can access me via a dedicated support group. They know I am there if they need me.

  • The programme ends only when they are ready to fly the nest. My aim is that each consultant that goes through the Academy leaves as a high quality and confident consultant, no matter how long it takes.

  • And it’s not just the consultants that are supported, your managers are too. Each week I provide a debrief to the management team and support them in putting together a plan to help embed the learning from the training. This supports their ongoing development and eases the load on managements ever growing to do list; the stress of working out what to do with them is avoided and you're guided along the way.
